We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love; who has a prior record of delivering the best solutions to different verticals for services based or product based companies. Requirements
Candidate must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. Candidate will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements. Candidate will work with marketing communications to define the go- to- market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. Candidate will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
Responsibilities:
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Requirement gathering and analyzing; also involved in discovery phase for wireframe drafting with creative director and design team
Create buy- in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver with quick time- to- market and optimal resources
Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other management team members
Evaluate plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Position Summary:
A Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing the successful conceptualization, design, development, launch, and ongoing live operation of the project.
Candidate owns the success or failure of Project in their entirety and simultaneously must balance a clients expectations and budget limitations while doing so, perhaps the trickiest bit.
A candidate is responsible for managing clients and cross- functional internal teams to ensure that apps are successful in meeting their goals.
A Project Manager along with respective project manager will manage the entire lifecycle of the project and is expected to contribute to the design, production, testing, launching, operation, and support of the product.
At any given time Project Manager will be responsible for a number of projects, and will work on these projects in conjunction with their team for successful delivery.
The Project Manager is the most important individual contributor and coordinator on a project – their ultimate goal is to make a product successful and foster a strong relationship between the client and internal team (design and development teams)
Project Planning:
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management and sales partners.
Work with Technical Architects and Creative Directors to create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities and meets the commercial needs of the client.
Review the project schedule with senior management, respective project manager and all other team members that will be affected by the project activities as well as revise the schedule as required.
Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion and ensure the process steers the project towards these goals.
Project Implementation:
Effectively execute the project according to the project plan with project manager
Develop forms and records to document project activities in augmentation of internal company project management and communication tools.
Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured as well as shared in an efficient process with the necessary stakeholders.
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments to budget and timeline as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project and a happy and informed client.
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project.
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets company and project standards.
Projects Analysis:
Analyse projects from the perspective of stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and consumers; define project objectives & KPIs.
Co- ordinate between the client and project team to create and execute project timelines, focusing on the prioritization of additional features and quality improvement
Lead multiple functional teams in providing clients with comprehensive support across all elements of application development and publishing.
Conduct market and product research; build a comprehensive and modern understanding of the entire mobile and web market and where technology is moving in general.
Project Co- ordination :
Write reports on the project for management and for stakeholders.
Communicate with stakeholders to monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures.
Monitor project cost projections and report actual project costs and variances to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/ bimonthly) .
Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date.
Project Evaluation:
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
Working Conditions:
Project Manager usually works in an office environment but the purpose of the project may sometimes take them to non- standard workplaces.
Project Manager works a standard work week but may be required to work late evenings as per client requirements.
Should always available for communication with Senior Management and/ or clients and always responds to e- mails in a timely manner – no matter where they are or what they are doing.
Proven working experience (more than 5 years) in project management or product management
5 years of experience managing and producing digital products, preferably in mobile and web domain.
Solid technical background with understanding and/ or hands- on experience in software development and web technologies
A demonstrated mastery of mobile, the web and general industry trends and best practices, as well as a willingness to learn and articulate the unique approach.
The ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, providing the most useful guidance in an enthusiastic and inspiring manner.
A working knowledge of a mobile devices or browsers capabilities to the extent that most client questions can be answered without consulting a developer.
An innate ability to synthesize various data, learnings, and research to articulate the most important and actionable insights.
Strong visual thinking and storytelling abilities, simplifying complex concepts and strategies through design and logic.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
Should have hands- on experience with agile methodology
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
An interest and comfort level in standing in front of a client or a room full of peers to give their opinion or a presentation.

Strong problem- solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job
Skilled at working effectively with cross- functional teams in a matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BE/ B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred. MBA candidates would be preferred.
